Dear Doctor Nowicki,
I was so sorry to learn of the loss of your mother. I remember our conversations and the numerous calls you made to insure that your mother's needs were addressed. I'm sure that she was very proud of you. You were a wonderful son. You did your best.
Hope you get some well deserved rest.
