Ruth M. Dampmann, 95, of West Orange, NJ passed away at home on Tuesday, October 6, 2015.

Born in Berlin, Germany, Ruth came to the United States in 1954 and has resided in West Orange for over 50 years.
Mrs. Dampmann was educated in the United States earning both her bachelors and masters degrees from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ.
Ruth marveled in education – she was a gifted educator with the East Orange Board of Education and later with Upsala College also in East Orange, before her retirement.
She is survived by her sons, Axel Krueger and Claus Dampmann.
