Jim IS physical therapy in New Jersey. From my first opportunity as a student all these years later the lessons Jim taught and the standard he set has been the bar I have attempted to aspire to. From Jim I learned how to set priorities and my first and foremost priority was and is the patient I have the privilege to work with. Nobody could have asked for a better boss. He set the bar high but he expected of us only what he already demonstrated and achieved. Jim was a role model, a mentor and a friend. He leaves a void that we can only hope to fill by carrying out what Jim intended us to do, never stop learning, count your many blessings and appreciate the value of family and friends. I am so grateful that I had the privilege to know Jim and his wonderful family.

Marybeth, Sue Ellen and Barbara - our heartfelt condolences go out to you and your families on the loss of your father. We are remembering the times on Myrtle Avenue as having a great neighbor and also a friend who would help any neighbor out in need, especially when we were redoing the house and he helped Mike with the basement work. We loved to see the projects he was working on. Rest in Peace Jim.

Jim was my first supervising physical therapist as a student at Kessler in 1970. He was also my first boss, as I took a job there after graduation.
I can say that Jim set a standard for me as a physical therapist that has lasted for over 45 years in my career. He was patient with me as a student, demanding of me as a student, and gave me opportunities to teach, even as a young graduate.
Jim and I learned about isokinetics, and prosthetics together.
I will always hold a special place in my heart for Jim as I know you changed my life.
Thank you.

Jim was truly a one of a kind guy. Everybody that had the honor of knowing him, is better off than the day before they met Jim. James and I are truly grateful that Jim made room in his heart and life to include us in his.
Jim, you have left us with a brokenness in our hearts, but with a legacy that will go on forever. We know you're happy and rejoicing in your forever home with Jesus...we'll be looking forward to one day seeing you again. I hope there's a Home Depot in heaven so you can make sure the pearly gates are in good working order! We love you❤️

Jim was my clinical supervisor in 1968 when I was the 1st student from Sargent College at Boston University to have a clinical affiliation at Kessler Institute. He was a brilliant teacher and a person I will never forget. Over the years that I saw him afterward, he always remembered me and I appreciate all he did for our profession. My condolences to all family, friends, and p.t. associates.

Jim was one of my professors in physical therapy school at Downstate Medical Center and was truly an inspirational clinician and mentor. All colleagues in my profession have lost a true leader and wonderful person. His influence will be remembered by many, and the impact that he has had on his colleagues have affected thousands by extension.
God rest his soul.
