Obituary of Patricia Hughes

Publishing Executive Patricia (Patti) Hughes, 60, of Millburn, NJ, formerly of Caldwell, NJ, sadly passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2016. Relatives and friends are invited for visitation with the family on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 4-8pm at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ 07006. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 10:00am in Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 28 Livingston Avenue, Roseland, NJ 07068. Patti was born in Brooklyn, NY to Robert and Patricia Beusse. She was raised in Caldwell and lived in West Orange before moving to Millburn 22 years ago. She attended high school at Mount Saint Dominic Academy in Caldwell and was a graduate of Fairfield University, with a BA in English. Patti was a Publishing Executive with Macmillan Publishing in New York, NY for a combined 27 years. During her distinguished career, she also worked with Random House; Little, Brown; and other publishing houses in the New York area. She is survived by her beloved husband, Laurence (Larry); cherished children, Emily. Gregory, and Sarah and her husband, Nathaniel Green; loving mother, Patricia Beusse; devoted siblings, Claire Simmons, Brian Beusse, Donna McLeod, Barbara Davison, and Thomas Beusse. She was predeceased by her father, Robert, and brother, Robert.
