Amelia M. Klelis (nee Sherwood), 94 of North Caldwell passed away on July 3, 2016.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Notre Dame Church, 359 Central Ave. North Caldwell on Friday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visitation is on Thursday from 4-8 PM at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell.
Born in New Hartford, NY, Amelia moved to the Ironbound section of Newark after marrying in 1947. She and her husband then moved to the Forest Hills section, and finally to North Caldwell in 1983. Amelia was a devout member of Notre Dame Church as well as a member of the senior citizens club there. She was also a member of the North Caldwell Senior Citizens. Amelia absolutely loved cooking and baking, as well as taking trips to Atlantic City to play the slots.
Amelia was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Klelis; loving mother of Charles Klelis and Deborah DeDominicis and her husband Nick; dear grandfather of Nick DeDominicis and his wife Christine and Melissa DeDominicis; and great-grandfather of Isabelle and Aiden.
