Beloved Husband, Father & Grandfather
Franklin "Whitey" Cramer, 84, of West Orange, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017.
Visiting will be held in the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ on Saturday, March 25 from 4-6 pm. Military honors be bestowed at 5:30 pm. For further information or to extend condolences, please visit codeyjonesfh.com.
Born in the family home to Edward and Lena, Whitey was a lifelong resident of West Orange. He was a union plumber with Local 68, Operating Engineers.
Whitey was a loyal member of the West Orange B.P.O.E. 1590 for many years. As a young man he enjoyed golfing.
He was predeceased by his wife, Muriel and grandson, Joseph Garrity. Surviving are his children, Deborah McDonald and Frank (Beverly) Cramer; brother, Winfield and sister Peggy Ritter; also several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
