Obituary of Joseph S. Prestifilippo

Joseph S. Prestifillipo Lifelong Caldwell Resident Joseph S. Prestifilippo, a lifelong Caldwell, NJ resident, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017. He was 78 years old. Visitation will be at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home of Caldwell, 54 Roseland Avenue on Friday, September 8th from 4-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Aloysius R.C., 219 Bloomfield Avenue, Caldwell, NJ on Saturday, September 9th at 11:00am. Born in Montclair, NJ to the late Joseph and Anna Prestifilippo, Joe was a lifelong resident of Caldwell. He was a graduate of Seton Hall University. He graduated Seton Hall University with a degree in Spanish Education. He taught for a brief period in Roselle Park before ending his career at an insurance company in New York City. A devout Catholic, Joe was lifelong member of St. Aloysius Church. Surviving are his devoted brother, Sidney Prestifilippo and his wife, Nickie; loving nieces, Luanne DiGuglielmo, Maria Rodgers, Susan Saccente and Elizabeth Bongo; also ten cherished great nieces and nephews.
