Longtime West Caldwell Resident
Jean M. Shipley, 91, of West Caldwell, NJ, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Cranes Mill in West Caldwell.

Born in Newark, NJ to Lawrence and Amelia Schmid, she lived most of her life in West Caldwell. Jean was married to the late John H. Shipley who predeceased her in 2006.
For many years she was an administrative assistant to the President of Pella Windows in Fairfield.
Surviving are her children, Ronald Shipley and his wife, Suzanne of Denville, NJ and Margaret "Peggy" Staley of The Villages, FL; grandchildren, Brendan, Kevin, Erin and Mollie Shipley, Tim (Amanda) and Scott (Stacey) Staley; and a great granddaughter, Loretta Staley.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the West Caldwell Volunteer Fire Department or the Joey Bella Memorial Fund would be appreciated.
