Marie P. Gallo of Caldwell, NJ, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018 with her loving family by her side.

Born in Jersey City, NJ to the late Ceasar and the late Carmella (Pantliano) Quaglieri, Marie was raised in Hoboken, NJ with her three sisters, Palma, Rose and Claire.

She met her late husband, John W. Gallo, Sr. at Sperry Products in Jersey City and together they raised their family in Weehawken, NJ.

Marie retired as a bookkeeper from ArtCraft in Hoboken.

A devout Catholic, she was member of the Sodality of Our Blessed Lady at St. Ann's Church in Hoboken. She was a devoted parishioner at Blessed Sacrament in Roseland.

Family was everything to her! She also enjoyed knitting for different organizations including the Blessed Sacrament and Marion Manor Knitting Clubs.

She was predeceased by her husband, parents, sisters and son-in-law, Raymond Pappone. Surviving are her children, John W. "Jack", Jr. and his wife, Sharon, Patricia Pappone, and Steven P. and his wife, Liz, 12 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ on Sunday, March 4 from 5-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church, 28 Livingston Avenue, Roseland, NJ on Monday, March 5 at 10:00 am.
