Helen M. Reed (DeLucca), 89, of Verona, NJ, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 with her family by her side.
Visitation will be held today, Thursday, April 12th from 4-8 pm in the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 13th at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake R.C. Church, 32 Lakeside Avenue, Verona, NJ. The interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.
Born in Newark, NJ, Helen lived most of her life in Verona.
Helen was passionate about music and poetry. She was a self-taught musician who played many instruments.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, William and loving daughter, Barbara Crabtree.
Surviving are her devoted children, Deborah Tavares, Mary Sferrazza, Elizabeth Dombrowski, William, Joseph and Jack Reed; also 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The heavens are alive with the sound of music…
