Obituary of Edna Giltner

Edna Giltner Beloved Mother & Grandmother Edna Giltner, 91, of West Orange, NJ, peacefully passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 with her family by her side. Visiting will be today, Wednesday, May 23rd from 6-8 pm at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ 07006. Born in Orange, NJ to Edward and Elizabeth Hartwick, Edna was raised and married in Orange, NJ before moving to and raising her family in West Orange. She was a devoted wife and mother who was active in Democratic Politics in Orange and West Orange. Edna was predeceased by her husband, Frank; sons, Stephen and Dave; also 1 brother and 7 sisters. Surviving are her devoted children, Frank, John (Linda), Deborah (Andrew) Evans and Daniel (Laurie); loving daughter-in-law, Diane Giltner; cherished grandchildren, DJ, Drew & Dan Giltner, Laura & Christine Evans, and Gabriella & Luke Giltner. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edna's memory to St. Barnabas Hospice would be deeply appreciated.
