Beloved Wife, Mother & Grandmother

 

Mary Lou Bryant, of West Caldwell, NJ, unexpectedly passed away at home on Thursday, August 2, 2018, following an evening of celebration with her loving family.

 

Visiting for family and friends will be on Sunday, August 12th from 4-8 pm at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 13th at 10:00 am in St. Aloysius R.C. Church, 219 Bloomfield Avenue, Caldwell.  The interment will follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Caldwell. To extend a condolence or share a memory, please visit www.codeyjonesfh.com.

 

Born in Montclair, NJ to the late George and Mildred (DiNonno) Williams, Mary Lou was raised in West Caldwell, where she in turn raised her family along with her husband, Thomas A. Bryant, Sr. (Ret. WCPD)

 

Mary Lou’s life was her family.  She was blessed to have them all living in the community and a daily part of her life.  She was her grand-children’s biggest fan.  In her spare time, Mary Lou enjoyed crocheting baby blankets for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

 

Mrs. Bryant worked for 33 years with the Caldwell / West Caldwell Board of Education

as a bookkeeper and in the office of special services.

 

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, George Williams, Jr.

 

Surviving are her beloved husband of 60 years, Thomas A. Bryant, Sr; devoted children and their spouses, Lori and Jeffrey Lawshe, Karin and Michael Guard, Dona and Vinnie Graziosa and Thomas and Stephanie Bryant; sister, Carol Borasio and loving brother, Carmine Williams; cherished grandchildren, Michael, Derek, Christopher and Maggie Lawshe, Hunter and 2nd LT USAF Sawyer Guard, Vincent, Gina and Matthew Graziosa, Thomas, III, Taylor and Ashleigh Bryant.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary Lou’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or West Essex First Aid Squad, would be deeply appreciated.
