William F. Crowell Loving Husband, Father & Grandfather William F. Crowell, of Verona, NJ, formerly of Bloomfield, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 12, 2018. He was 86 years old. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ on Monday, September 17th from 4 - 7:30 pm followed by a service at 7:30 pm. Born in Hillside, NJ to Frederick and Sylvia Crowell, Bill lived most of his life in Bloomfield. He proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War. Mr. Crowell was a butcher for 50 + years with the Meat Cutters Union Local # 464, Little Falls, NJ and retired from Foodtown in East Hanover, NJ. Bill enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, bowling, playing the lottery and trips to Atlantic City. Surviving are his beloved wife of 50 years, Ona (Bandoni); devoted children, Fred, Stanley, Roxanne Pinck, Guy, Mark, Glen and Lisa Rossetti; dear brother, Wayne; also 13 cherished grandchildren and 4 adored great grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Carol Suckey. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bill to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the American Cancer Association, would be appreciated.
