Beloved Mother and Grandmother
Centenarian of West Caldwell
To live a remarkable life for 101 years and to have the love of family until the end was the gift of Miriam E. Anderson, who peacefully passed on Good Friday, April 19, 2019.
Born in Brooklyn, NY to Oscar and Bina (Carlson) Fredeen, Miriam was raised in Brooklyn along with her sister, Ruth. She met and married the love of her life and best friend, Andy, and together they raised their family in West Caldwell.
Miriam was blessed to share her love of home and family for generations in her 101 years on earth.
She will be joined once again with her husband, the late Andrew W. Anderson and sister, the late Ruth Wallquist and son-in-law, the late John Bergen.
Surviving to hold her memory close are her devoted daughters, Elaine Bergen, Carol (Richard) Otterbein and Lynn (John) Mulvaney; loving grandchildren, Col. Andrew (Laurie) Bergen, Dr. Edward (Jessica) Bergen, Jennifer (Jimmy) Yoo, Karl (Meredith) Otterbein and Erik (Patrice) Otterbein; also nine cherished great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to help celebrate her life on Friday, April 26, 2019 at 11:00 am in her beloved Trinity Covenant Church, 343 E. Cedar Street, Livingston, NJ.
