I recently learned of Tom's passing from Eugene Baisch. My regret is that I have not been back home to see Tom and Mary and Uncle Joe since 1987 when my dad Ed turned 70. My condolences to all my de facto relatives, the Calandras and the Emmanuelles, especially my godfather, Joe.
I hope to return home to visit. So please tell me via email how to best get in touch as I have lost contact with you all.
God bless you all,
Joe Hasenauer

Thomas Joseph’s family: I'm so sorry for your loss. I went through a similar situation and I was very helped by the hope that I found in the Bible in John 5:28, which says, "Do not amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I am sending you a link with more information on this hope.

So sorry to just learn about Tommy’s passing. As my brother Bob mentioned, we all have such fond memories of him and his entire family. I will always remember his upbeat love of life and family..... and seeing him on “the Avenue” and at “the Oval” with his cronies!
We all are so blessed to have known him for so many years - although he is no longer here his influence on all of us will always remain to live each day to the fullest and cherish your family....

Very sorry to hear about Tom's passing. I have a lot of fond memories of Tom, Mary, Rose, the entire Emmanuelle family while growing up in Caldwell. I remember Tom, Chick Grasso, Anthony AKA Scag coming over to Kiwanis Oval and watching baseball games. Tom was always soft spoken and always have a smile on his face. God bless him and I know his tomatoes are growing right now in heaven.

To the Calandra Family:
I am sorry for your loss. The Bible gives us a hope of a time when we will be reunited with our loved ones again. John 5:28,29 “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out...” may you be comforted by God’s Words.

What a good, long life! I’ll never forget my friends’ Uncle Tom strolling down Bloomfield Ave w/ his buddies, including Chick Grasso.
A real Caldwell institution. Your nephew often showed up w/ a bag of your magnificent tomatoes.
Godspeed, Uncle Tom. Indeed, you will be missed.
