I knew Kyria Eleni since the days she and her family moved into our upstairs apartment in Brooklyn. That was MANY years ago. They added SO MUCH to our everyday existence. Greeks at their best, enjoying each other's cooking, families, and personal stories of experiences adjusting to the new world. I most enjoyed my mother's relationship with Eleni. The 2 women forged a great natural friendship that was both dignified and completely joyful. I remember their LAUGHTER so fondly.
Very precious times with wonderful people.
