Yesterday we said goodbye to my dear mother Connie. She led a full and wonderful life; I would say a little adventurous following my father to England, where he was stationed in the Air Force after they were married. When they were ready to return she had a little bundle of joy -- me, along with my brother Peter. She was grandmother to three grandchildren:Kim who she help raise with so much love and affection, Peter and Anthony She also had two great grandchildren: Noah and Alexa. I must say her goddaughter Andrea was like a daughter to her and sister to me, and my husband Bob was like her son. After being with us for 28 years I missed having our morning coffee together. She had a kind and most generous heart and was the only baby sitter Kim ever had. We love you and will miss you. You left behind beautiful lessons of life to all us.

My Aunt Connie was like a second mother to me. I spent so much time in my childhood with my aunt and my uncle, and have such fond memories of us being together. My Aunt treated me like her third child. She always included me. My Aunt took me to the racetrack, swimming, or just walking on Ferry street while holding my hand. I don’t think she ever raised her voice to me. She always bought me a toy and custard cups at Pita’s. What great memories! Things will never be the same without her. To My Godmother, my Second Mother, I will always Love and remember you!

To my mother-in-law and my friend, Connie. I will never forget the first words you said to me the first time we met. I walked up all those stairs to the top floor on Jefferson Street, you were there waiting for me and you said, “Welcome to Heaven”. From your mouth to God’s ears.
Thank you for raising a great son. He is the boy I fell in love with and the man I married.
Thank you to you and Dad for laying the foundation that we built upon to make a “Heaven on Earth” life that has been blessed by our sons, our daughter-in-law and our grandchildren.
I will treasure the memories of our Friday get aways with you, Dad and Peter to The Shore Casino and The Lobsterman, our
trips to Monmouth Park and Max’s for hot dogs and our trips to Atlantic City. Win or lose, we always had fun being together.
Thank you for being a wonderful and caring mother and grandmother. Thank you for leading by example. Thank you for loving us unconditionally.
As the saying goes, the days are long but the years come quickly. It’s time to say good-bye for now. I hope some day, many years from now, I will hear you say again “Welcome to
Heaven”.
I love you Mom.

Hi
I am a friend of Pete’s for many years and I was sad to hear that your mother/grandmother has passed. Pete spoke fondly of her Italian cooking especially spaghetti and meatballs. I know she will be missed. Please accept our condolences and best wishes to your family.

Grandma - you meant everything to me. You helped raise me, spent every day of my life with me, and were one of the most selfless women that I have ever known. I will miss watching all of your favorite movies with you, including your Hallmark Mysteries, Hocus Pocus, The Score, and Meet Me in St. Louis (which we would watch all the time when I was a kid). I will miss our daily conversations about anything and everything, the coffees that I made you every day (four sugars, two scoops of coffee mate in your favorite mug), and tucking you into bed every night with 100 blankets because you were always chilly. I know that you are with Grandpa Marty, Aunt Angie, Uncle Joe, Uncle Tony, and your parents in heaven eating a big dish of your famous lasagna. Grandma — I loved and adored you more than words can say, and I will miss you every day for the rest of my life. Your beautiful heart and kind nature are something that I will never forget. I will always be your Bella. Rest in peace Grandma.

My mother and father grew up with Connie in Newark. Connie was one of my moms best friends. When I made my confirmation in 6th grade she was my sponsor and she bought me a beautiful watch that I still have. My mom passed away in 1969 at the age of 36. We lost contact with Connie after my mom passed. I remember her as a wonderful kind beautiful woman. May she Rest In Peace. My prayers and condolences to the family.
