Robert W. Butt, of Delray Beach, FL, formerly of West Caldwell, NJ, peacefully passed away on Monday, January 20, 2020 at home.
A service will be held in the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave., Caldwell, NJ on Friday, January 24th at 12:00 pm. Visitation will be one hour prior the service. Born in Verona, NJ, he lived in West Caldwell before moving to Florida many years ago.
Bob was the owner of Central Deli in West Caldwell for many years prior to his retirement. A friendly neighborhood grocer that was community minded. He was proud to serve in the National Guard.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Josephine, daughter, Joanne, and brothers, Kenneth and Norman.
Surviving are his devoted daughters and their husbands, Janet and Mike McCormick and Nancy and Mario Bifalco; loving grandchildren, Matthew, Elizabeth, Robert, Stephen and Brian.
