John Matthew Anen, 58, died on March 19, 2020 at St. Michael's Hospital in Newark, New Jersey.
Born in Orange, New Jersey on October 10, 1961, John grew up in West Orange and Roseland then living most of his adult life in Summit, New Jersey. He attended the West Essex High School class of 1979. He was a top salesman in several New Jersey car dealerships before working as a caddy at Baltustrol Golf Course, Trump National Golf Course and many other top courses throughout the state. Through that job John met and became friendly with many well-known people from Sylvester Stallone to Donald Trump. John was an avid golfer and spent much free time on the course. He also enjoyed being on his boat and just being outdoors.
Surviving are his loving parents Carol T. Anen (Wallace) and Russell E. Anen of Citrus Springs, Florida; his sisters Donna Critchley, husband Robert Critchley; Patricia Fox, husband James Fox, Jr.; and Gail Hernandez, husband Edward Hernandez. He is also survived by his beloved nephews, James Fox, III, Connor Fox, Christopher Hernandez and beloved niece Amanda Hernandez and three great nephews and a great niece.
