Obituary of Robin Powell

Robin Renee Powell, of Irvington, NJ entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. Robin was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on December 26, 1963. Robin was the only daughter born to Ella Jean Powell. She grew up in Hillside, New Jersey where she attended elementary and high school in the Hillside Public School System. After her high school graduation, Robin enlisted in the Air Force Reserve where she served for two years. Robin was employed in the Security industry, where she gained promotion to a supervisory position. Robin was a very rambunctious young woman. She was not afraid to try new things and loved fast cars and fast motorcycles. She enjoyed activities like Softball, Tennis, and the Water Rapids. She was an avid movie collector and while live streaming became easily accessible, she continued to pop her DVDs into her portable player. Robin was very strong minded and was known to be exceedingly thoughtful. You could count on her to give a call or send a card to anyone for a birthday, anniversary, or special occasion. She loved her family and spent long hours taking her nieces, nephews, and young cousins on adventures. Robin now joins her mother, Ella, and grandmother, Gadsie. She leaves to cherish her memories brother, Jeffrey (Scotty) Powell, Sister-In-Law, Bencilla (BJ) Powell, four nieces, two nephews, Aunts, Kay and Joann, Uncle Tom, dear friends Dawn and Venzell, and a host of family and friends.
