I read about Ann's death in the Star Ledger. I am so sorry for you loss. Death of a loved one is very distressing even if the person is elderly or sick. She sounds like an amazing woman. The Bible teaches us that death was not part of God's original plan. He wanted man to live forever, in perfect health, on a paradise earth. Man disobeyed God and brought about sin and death to the human race. God's plan will still be realized because nothing can stop his purpose and he does not lie. Isaiah 55:11 states, "So my word that goes out of my mouth will be. It will not return to me without results, but it will certainly accomplish whatever is my delight. It will have sure success in what I send it to do.: The Bible talks about a resurrection of those who have died. (Acts 24:15, John 5:28, 29) The Bible account in John 11:1-44 details a resurrection Jesus performed and which gives us the certainty that the resurrection of our loved ones will occur. The word resurrection in the Bible literally means "a standing up again" and "revival of the dead". The provision for resurrection of the dead is a magnificent expression of God's undeserved kindness. It displays his wisdom and power and is a means by which his original purpose regarding the earth and humans will be carried out. There is such a wealth of hope and knowledge that can be found in the pages of the Bible. Sincerely, Paula

I met Pat when I joined the Social Concerns Committee at St. Aloysius. As a newcomer many years ago, I recall how welcoming she was to me especially during various excursions. I always enjoyed our conversations. She was a beautiful person inside out. And, as evidenced by the video, her beauty began at a very young age. Rest in Peace, Pat.
With deepest sympathy,
Mary DelVecchio

What a lovely amazing video to depict all the good times that "Aunt Pat" to us and "Marnie" to all of you, shared with such a loving family. Not many people get to enjoy love from so many kids, grand kids, great grand kids etc. May these fond memories help you all get thru these difficult times. Always remember that as the saying goes, "Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday, unseen, unheard, but always near, still loved, still missed and very dear! May she rest in peace with her loved ones waiting for her in heaven. Very grateful to have had her always be so welcoming to me whenever I saw her! Our love and thoughts are with her and all of you.
