Sheila Crotty, 72 of Clifton, NJ, passed peacefully on August 7, 2020 at home.

Sheila was born in Jersey City on October 26th 1947. She grew up in East Orange, attended East Orange Catholic High School and went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Montclair State University. Upon graduation Sheila went to work for the Essex County Probation Department. While working as a probation officer she attended Seton Hall Law School where she earned her JD. Sheila then spent the remainder of her career working as a Deputy Attorney General in the NJ Office of the Attorney General representing the Division of Youth and Family Services. She loved her family and friends dearly, particularly her great nieces and nephews. Sheila was predeceased by her parents James A. and Kathleen, her brothers James and Joseph and her sister Kathy. She is survived by her sisters Eileene Hutchinson (James), Margaret Fehon (Edward Allan), Maureen Sweeney (John Edward), Patricia Kennedy (Kevin), her sister in law Joanne Crotty and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
