She always greeted us with a smile. She was a wonderful neighbor and watched the kids on the block as they played outdoors without anyone asking her to. I recall her making them head indoors when a raccoon was running around during the day. She loved my boys like another set of grandchildren and treated my dog Maisy like her own. She would stop in to visit after my surgery to check on me. Heartbroken to hear of her passing.
