Obituary of Domenica Barulich

Domenica P. Barulich Domenica Paula "Mina" Barulich (nee Lechich), 92, of North Arlington, NJ, recently of Cedar Grove, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at St. Vincent's Nursing Home. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ on Tuesday, August 19th from 4-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Notre Dame R.C. Church, 359 Central Avenue, North Caldwell, NJ on Wednesday, August 20th at 10:00 am. Domenica was born in Montfalcone, Italy, the daughter of Antonio and Maria Lechich and spent much of her life in Lussinpiccolo, Italy (now Croatia) She came to the United States with her family in 1955 and lived in Union City, NJ before moving to North Arlington, NJ, where she lived for 20 years. She was a seamstress by trade, retiring almost 40 years ago. Mina was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed crocheting, cooking, revisiting Lussinpiccolo and spending time with her children and grandchildren,. . She was predeceased by her husband, Antonio, and her brothers, Romolo and Antonio Lechich. Surviving are her devoted children, John Barulich, with wife Mary, of West Caldwell, NJ and Dorina Mastrangelo of Franklin Lakes, NJ; a brother, Mario Lechich; a sister, Giannina Galeazzi; loving grandchildren, Gianfranco Mastrangelo, Brian Barulich and Vanessa Mastrangelo; and a cherished great grandson, Leonardo.
