Obituary of Sharon Cecilia D'Aloia
Sharon Cecilia D'Aloia, 63 of West Orange passed away on May 9, 2021.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Sharon at the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell on Thursday May 13 from 4:00-6:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1 Eagle Rock Ave., West Orange on Friday at 10:00 AM. Those attending mass are asked to meet directly at church. Cremation will be held privately.
Born in Orange, Sharon was a longtime West Orange resident. She was very proud to have worked for Governor Richard J. Codey in his private businesses for many years, and also worked at Liberty Mutual and Chubb Insurance Companies as a bookkeeper and underwriter. A graduate of Mountain High School Class of 1976, Sharon also cherished nights spent dining out and trips to the racetrack.
The daughter of the late Edward J. D'Aloia, Sr. and Irene (nee Jones), Sharon was the loving companion of Bobby Zullo, and dear sister of Edward J. D'Aloia, Jr. and his wife Mindy. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
