Joan was truly a legend at Prudential and a hero to us in the Home Offices. She was extremely knowledgeable about Settlement Options, but more importantly, she was willing to share her knowledge. Joan would work with brokers lawyers and home office staff to identify solutions for the client's needs. By the time the meeting was over, everyone was filled with respect for Joan and grateful for her involvement. She was an excellent role model. We truly appreciated her!

I'm so saddened to hear this news about my friend, Joan. I met Joan when I was the representative for the Minneapolis Prudential Settlement Options Review Team. We "clicked" immediately and became friends outside of work as well. We did a few girls trips together with another friend from the California Prudential and the three of us formed a bond. We had so many laughs together and will now be even more treasured memories! Joan came to visit my husband and I in Minneapolis several times which meant Joan and I would shop till we dropped every day but always had time for a visit to a nice restaurant and great wine. She was the
BEST! My only regret is that I didn't stay in closer contact with her in the last few years. Our lives all changed and too many other things got in the way. I would hear from her at the holidays and I that would lead to a phone call to her. This is truly a regret now that she is gone. I need to hear her laugh! Thanks for the wonderful memories, Joan. I will miss you and have treasured your friendship over the years! Until we meet again. Love, Connie and Greg

I can’t believe that Joan’s voice has been silenced. I worked with Joan beginning in 1990 until her retirement. We worked so closely that we didn’t have to finish our sentences. We knew what the other was going to say. I learned so much from Joan. After a few of us retired we would have monthly dinners which Joan would usually organize. We then switched to lunches which I was happy about since I don’t care to drive in the dark. I was looking forward to meeting again for lunch after the pandemic. It will never be the same without Joan. Joan was a caring thoughtful person and I will miss her. Many memories to cherish.

How will I remember Joan? The little teenager who started in the typing pool and ended her career as Director in Prudential's Corporate office was a force to be reckoned with, but I like to think about the times we spent outside the office over our forty years together. So many ballets and jazz concerts, always with drinks and a meal before the performance, and I always could count on Joan to have dollar bills fanned out on the seat as I approached the Lincoln Tunnel. New York, Atlantic City, Las Vegas, Boston, Washington DC, Chicago, Orlando, New Orleans, Alaska, St. Maarten ... often to seek art but always to have a good time. And Arizona - Joan was with me when I found my new home! She was so angry when I said I was moving but at least I would be on the way to Vegas. We loved the same champagne, scotch, wines and shopping. So much shopping! Joan was ten inches shorter than me, so I always took things down from the top shelves for her and she searched the lower shelves for me. Joan also made a fine homebody, and she loved cozying up with a cup of tea, music and her cookbooks as she planned meals for her family. Joan loved to cook, she loved to bake, and she loved her family. Joan also became part of my family, and my brother, sister-in-law, nephews and neighbors back in New Jersey all are grieving. Ritza ... we shared so many laughs, so many tears, and more good times than I can say. You were loved and you will be missed ... Bremma

There are no words to truly convey how I feel when my best friend passes away. We had 50 plus years of a beautiful shared friendship. Joan may be gone from my sight but she will never leave my heart along with all the wonderful memories we had together. Rest in Peace my friend. Love Belle
