Betty Jane Turner, 92, of Isle of Palms, SC, widow of George Preston Turner died Tuesday, November 5, 2013.
Her Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Codey & Jones Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell, NJ 07006. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park, East Hanover, NJ.
Betty was born September 15, 1921 in Spangler, PA, one of 13 children of the late Smith Chapman and the late Bertha Frye Chapman. She was an Administrative Assistant retired after 30 years with Washington National Insurance in New Jersey. She attended First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughters: Hannah E. Swan of Parsippany, NJ, Kathleen L. Wickman of Isle of Palms, SC and Elizabeth M. Turner of Goose Creek, SC; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
