I along with my x husband Monte spent many hours with Jim. He worked very hard along with Anita to photograph the covers to Monte’s toy boxes. We also spent time socializing . Jim was a great guy who enjoyed life and valued friendship! My condolences to his family!

Please accept my condolences on the passing of Jim. I knew Jim from his time on the Newark Police Department. We were both at that time members of the FOP Trustee Board. I remember Jim was always ready to work to help build the Lodge No.12. May he Rest in Peace

To Jimmy's family, my sincerest condolences.
Jimmy and I were class mates at the Newark Police Academy starting July 10, 1972. We were also Vietnam vets. After graduating the academy we would run into each other on the streets of Newark. He was a great guy to be around on and off the job. I know he will be sorely missed. Hang on to your cherished memories of Jimmy. I know I will.

Saddened to hear of the news of Jimmy's passing. Former classmate and neighbor right down the street. The man was a "hustler" in the best sense of the word. God bless you Jimmy and may the Lord be quick, and faithful to comfort all who mourn your passing including myself.

As young boys Jimmy and I grew up together on South Clinton St. in East Orange. We played as little kids, hung out at Joe's candy store, went to high school together and went to our first MLB game together. He was truly a good buddy, and someone you could count on. Although I hadn't seen him in quite a while, I knew the kind of person he was, and that makes me proud to have called him my friend.
My condolences to all his family.
God Bless You Jimmy,
Dan Altieri

I went to East Orange HS with Jimmy and knew him from the neighborhood. Him and I had a lot of laughs in Mr. DeMarzo's Italian class. Also later in years he would come to our annual Christmas party. Great guy.
RIP Buddy.

It is with great sadness that I learned about the passing of James. He was a person who exuded warmth, intelligence, and spirit. His captivating sense of humor made me feel at ease during my first days at NJ Dept of Labor: Wage and Hour. I know that his presence will be sorely missed by those who knew him. James's memory remains as a testament to a life well-lived.
