Obituary of Deborah A Wefferling

Deborah A. Wefferling of Caldwell, New Jersey passed away at home on Monday, May 11, 2020, after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family. She lived for 70 years. Born in New York, New York, she graduated from Verona High School in 1967. Debbie had a passion for cooking, whether for two or two hundred. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Caldwell where her coffee hour became a favorite with all the different treats she prepared. She was also an active member of the Canal Society of New Jersey where she greeted the guests who were visiting Waterloo Village or preparing meals for the members at their bimonthly program meetings. When not cooking, Debbie was busy crocheting or doing stained glass. Her other interests included boating and scuba diving with her husband, Lewis, on Bonaire. Debbie is survived by her husband, Lewis, children, Lawrence and his wife, Debra Z., and Laurel Wefferling-Pezeur and her husband, Michael, nine grandchildren and too many friends to count.
