Father Bob first came into our lives when my mother had surgery at Community Hospital in Montclair. He visited her and was willing to speak to her in Polish. However, my father was Polish, but my mother, Italian. Father Bob still prayed with her (in English), and also visited her at our home in Caldwell when she was home from the hospital. When my father passed in February of 2003, Father Bob came out of retirement to conduct the Mass. I will be ever grateful. I am a teacher at James Caldwell High School. My students were my father's pall bearers, and Father Bob sat with them at the repast. When he left, I told him how much I missed my father. He said to me "Your father will always live in your heart," Father Bob will always live in my heart.
